were determined to succeed. The team consisted of Seniors; Lauren Adam, Laken Polega, Katie
Engelhardt, Baillie Fritz, Brianna Osantowske, and Reigen Ryan, Juniors; Nichole Schember, Rylee
Zimmer, Delanie Pavlichek and Allie LaLonde and Freshman Brynn Polega. The girls started out the
season with a big win over Frankenmuth but then lost a few games against some very tough oppo-
nents. However, once the calendar fl ipped to February, the girls found their stride winning 15 of their
last 18 games, including an 11 game win streak. The team fi nished 8-2 in the conference, good for
second place, and 18-7 overall, winning a District championship before falling to Flint Beecher in the
Regional Finals.
