Mya started wrestling in Vassar under the youth Scrappers program at 5 years old. The
past couple of years she has trained in Bay City under Bay County Roadrunners.
In April she placed 3rd at one of the toughest competitions TOC (Tournament of Champi-
ons) in Columbus, Ohio.

She has wrestled in various States and Tournaments including several Nationally. Over
the last couple of years she has traveled to: New York (Spring Nationals), Atlantic City, New
Jersey (Summer Nationals), Pennsylvania (PENWAY States qualifier), Iowa (Midwest Tour)
and also most recently Tulsa, Oklahoma for the WOW Kickoff Classic taking 1st place and
bringing back an Eagle.

Mya holds several state titles in the boys and girls divisions including NEMWA and
MMWA.

She always cheers on her brother for his matches and before most of hers, he’s the one
lacing up her shoes & sits mat side to coach.

Girls wrestling is currently one of the most popular and growing sports today. Mya hopes
to travel back to Tulsa to defend her title in 2020.
