State Champs!
The 2016-2017 Lady Eagles Basketball Team competed in the Pensacola Christian College Ea-
gle Invitational Tournament as well as the MACS (Michigan Association of Christian Schools)
State Basketball Tournament . The girls won two out of three games in Pensacola, FL to bring
home a trophy from the consolation game. They then continued their success by earning a
tie as the co-champions of the CMCAC (Central Michigan Christian Athletic Conference).
They rounded out the season by winning the Division 2 State Championship at Springfield
Christian Academy in Clarkston, MI. The team is led by a group of three Juniors: Heather
Cooper, Heidi Cooper and Ashley Green and one Sophomore, Makayla Yoemans. The JCS
Lady Eagles do not graduate any players this year and look to build on this season next year.
