                                                      Joe Stewart, MSW, CFL2, USAW


                                                      Joe’s path to being  a strength coach was circuitous, to
                                                      say the least.  He has always had a passion for sports,
                                                      competition  and exercise.  Ten years in college  that

                                                      started with a PT route, switched to a nursing path, and
                                                      graduating  from Michigan  State with  a Master’s Degree
                                                      in Social Work ended with finding CrossFit, Weightlifting,
                                                      Sports Performance  and the community that came with

                                                      it.   Joe is driven  by using  evidenced  based  methods
                                                      combined  with the Mission 1 attitude of Excellence.
                                                      Always. to assist athletes in getting to the next level.



                                                        Phil Eich - Head CrossFit Coach/Media Man

                                                        Phil has been contributing  to Mission  1 in some

                                                        way  for  the  last  couple  years,  but  officially
                                                        joined the  coaching  staff  in January of  2017.

                                                        A former middle  school teacher, Phil is taking his

                                                        passion  for teaching and learning  to improve the
                                                        health and physical skills of the athletes at Mission
                                                        1 and now the audience of Sport’s Finest Magazine.




                                                        BreannaDePottey, a 2006  Millington  graduate attend
                                                        Delta Collage  to pursue a creeer in personal  train-
                                                        ing.  After certifying through NCSF, she worked for Twin
                                                        Peak Performance and Saginaw YMCA instructing boot
                                                        camps, kidfit camps, personal trainign and corporate fit-
                                                        ness for two years before moving to Chicago.  There she
                                                        continued to instruct classes for Geneva Parks District
                                                        and patient fitness  and rehab for Toensing Chiropractic.
                                                        Moving  back to be with family, she created BreSmash
                                                        Fitness and started video blogging for lettucelivewell.org.
                                                        This lead to more patient rehab and fitness at Chiroprac-
                                                        tic Plus in Bay City.  After nine years personal training,
                                                        a bit of luck brought her back to Vassar as the personal
                                                        trainer for 1LifeFitness where she currently helps mem-
                                                        bers  of  all  ages  rehab,  train  and  achieve  their  fitness.
