The Cardinals overcame sickness and injuries early in the season to finish with a stellar 20-4 overall
record, a district championship, and an undefeated 5-0 record against non-conference GTC op-
ponents. Coach Dave Lester gave credit to seniors Dez Carter, Garrett Green, Quin Western and
Austin Ahern for their leadership throughout the season. “Austin Ahern was a consistent performer
all season. He was the hardest working player on the floor. He was a vital piece of our success this
year” - Coach Lester. Much credit was also given to breakout performers Nathan Cloyd and Evan
Neff this year, both earning 1st team all-conference honors in the NCTL. Coach Lester and the car-
dinals look to follow this years success right into next year, as they return their two most explosive
players. “Evan and Nathan are a dangerous combination that will give teams fits next year” - Coach
