Race Number: Number 19, for my uncle who helped get me into kart racing
Hobbies: Kart racing, drone piloting, swimming, target shooting (bow and firearms), video-gaming
Favorite Memory: When I figured out how to make my yard kart power-slide around corners!!
Do you have any family members that raced: My dad Drag Raced (car and dune buggy), and my
uncle raced Late Model and Motocross. My uncle was also the person who introduced me to Kart
racing.
Community Involvement: Member of the SAL (Sons of the American Legion) – I am glad to be a
part of the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Ogemaw County Fair each year, and have not been more
proud than when I was offered the honor of carrying the MIA/POW flag in the local Independence
Day parade, marching alongside Legionaries and fellow SAL members.
Career Aspirations: When I was four years old, my grandfather asked me, “Michael – what are you
going to be when you grow up?” I immediately told him “A race car driver. Or a Rock Star.” Still
working on the Rock Star thing, but as soon as NASCAR calls…”Go fast! Turn left!”
