Caro Lions Basketball

“Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work
hard.” said Kevin Durant of the Golden State War-
riors. Thanks to a generous donation from the Caro
Lions Club, Steve Cramer a USA High School Alumni
who played pro ball overseas, put on a basketball
camp for the Lion’s Club third through sixth grade
girls’ and boys’ on Saturday, January 5th. The ath-
letes learned how to properly shoot, cross-over,
dribble and they even worked on enhancing their
speed with running drills. A major takeaway for kids
was how teamwork and dedication will set you on
track to play just like Coach Cramer and be success-
ful both on and off the courts. Many thanks to Caro
Lions Club for creating such an amazing opportu-
nity for the future of Caro basketball to get better at
something they all love.
