Reese Out of Doors Club by Allison Hawken
On January 26th, 22 Reese students active in the Reese Out of Doors Club went ice fishing. For
many, it was for the very first time. After using all the bait, members participated in relay races on
ice. Fun competitions such as “The Wheel Barrow Race” and “Who Can Spud Through the Ice the
Fastest?” - in addition to catching fish - made the -5 degree temperature well worth it. The Reese
Out of Doors Club would like to extend a special THANK YOU to the parents and advisors for their
useful knowledge and specifically, Gerald Kilbourne for the use of his private pond in Tuscola. Go
Rockets!
