whitetail buck on that hunt. That hunt was a very special moment for Addison due to it was
part of her celebrating her news of remission.
November 7thAddison received a phone call stating that a gentleman that bought a
hunt for a bull elk could not make it and she was asked if she would like to hunt and har-
vest the bull elk for the gentleman that purchased the hunt. She accepted a once in a life-
time chance to hunt a trophy class bull elk. The morning of November 10th, Addison sat
in a blind watching this huge bull bugle and follow a cow elk around. The cows eventually
worked their way into the open with the large bull following. Addison made a well-placed
shot and the giant 9x6 bull fell.
Addison is extremely appreciative of the opportunity to harvest two majestic animals. She
is very thankful to everyone involved that put the two hunts together.
Addison’s dad, Chris, refers to Addison as his elk. The elk is one of the strongest North
American animals. Their will to survive and live is very vigorous. Addison’s journey has
proven she is an elk. She is strong, she is a warrior, she is a fighter. She is AddisonStrong!!!
